Rin once lived in a village that hated her until she came apon Lord Sesshomaru a great dog demon from the west. Sesshomaru was badly injurd and he didn't have hi's left arm. Rin took care of him but when a pack of wolfs (Koga) attacked the village she was killed Sesshomaru brught her back to life with Tetseinga and from then on she travels with him and Sesshomaru protects from evil demons and treats her like a daughter.
